As leaders, creatives, and advocates within the music industry, we owe a great part of our success to the artists of these diasporas who have made vast cultural and economic contributions to our country. These are the artists who have carried our music through generations and across borders. The ones who have filled stadiums, broken streaming records, won awards, and have received recognition from presidents. We are indebted to our immigrant consumers who have kept this industry afloat. The ones who purchase tickets, buy merch, stream music and who support our artists wholeheartedly.
 
We are using our voice, our networks and our platforms to demand dignity, to fight injustice, and to mobilize our communities to assist and protect those who have been affected by the undeserved and violent treatment carried out on behalf of our law enforcement agencies. As immigrant families in our communities face fear, unlawful detainment, and discrimination, we cannot stay silent.
 
We stand in solidarity with ALL immigrants seeking safety, opportunities, and a pathway to success in our country.  We call on artists, songwriters, producers, engineers, record labels, publishers, entertainment lawyers, promoters, talent agents, journalists, digital streaming platforms, and every member of our industry to join us. Together we will stand.
